Martin VanWoudenberg is a teacher and speaker with 10 years’ experience in the high school system, and a prior background of over 20 years in the tech and web industries. He has run both a networking company and a web/print design company for several decades. He has written and published three books, and served as editor and layout consultant for over a dozen more.

The past 7 years he has also spoken for small to medium-sized groups on topics such as technology in the classroom, managing media in education, creating engaging presentations, using cell phones in the classroom, and creating the interactive class. Currently he holds degrees in English and Education, and teaches Law, History, and English.

Martin lives and works in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada. He spends his off-work hours with his wife of 21 years, and his four children (20, 18, 16, 12). Most of what he has learned about cell phones, digital parenting, and the horrors of the Internet have been learned through hard experience and subsequent research.

But he still loves technology.
